Already missing the pool or beach? One Way Non-stop flights from Columbus to Cancun for only 15,500 Delta Miles this Winter.

Delta has some good redemption options from Columbus this Winter.  You can fly non-stop to Cancun on Saturdays for only 15,500 miles or $209 one way.  I have seen this flight as low as 11,000 points per person.  Taxes and fees are roughly $34 per person when using points.

If you don't have any Delta points there are currently some pretty good American Express credit card offers.  One of them is the Amex Every Day card:

This card has some great perks especially the current bonus.  I have never had this card but it is on my list to get soon.  

Another option is the Amex Delta Gold Card:

As you can see the 60,000 points can take you many places.  This card has a pretty small spending requirement.  Just remember that many of the American Express cards only allow you one bonus per lifetime.  However Amex does introduce new cards from time to time.  I have had this card in the past and it comes with some nice perks like priority boarding and your first checked bag is free.

For my return flight I would probably use Southwest since I can utilize the Companion Pass.  Here is the one way availability for the return flight:

I would love to take advantage of this non stop flight to Cancun.  Also remember that Southwest will begin flying seasonally non stop flights to Cancun from Columbus in Spring 2018.  Booking the flight is the easy part.  Finding a babysitter is not!
