Little Disney Take 2!!

Our second trip to Disney was December of 2014. Our daughter had just turned 3 in October and our son was about 15 months. We did the Disney cruise first (You can read more about the cruise here) and followed it up with a 2 day stay in Disney. The day we got off the boat we went straight to Disney springs back then it was downtown Disney now its crazy big! We had Macies bibbidi bobbidi boutique appointment around lunch time. She was finally 3 which is the youngest they can be to do this experience. (ages 3-12) We called ahead and had this booked some time before our trip. You are able to book out 180 days in advance. They have a few different packages and I thought for sure this was going to be super expensive but it really wasn't! We chose to do the crown package which was the cheapest at $65. She got to keep her make up pallet and two bottles of princess nail polish. Plus she got a little bag and sash and some face gems. I had found an amazing Cinderella dress at Babies R Us in their Halloween section and used a coupon before we came so it was like $20. Honestly it's the best made dress we own, she still has and wears it. By bringing your own dress you save a ton of money and get the full princess experience. They even now have a little prince package for boys you can do too.  I can't wait to do this again with Emmy. We finished the day with some shopping, Lego Store, and of course our usual Rainforest Cafe.

We stayed at the Swan hotel for these two nights(free with the help of our Amex SPG credit card). This was a great resort, it is on Disney property but not owned by Disney.  This hotel does have Disney Transportation services to take you anywhere you need to go on Disney property. It also had all kinds of fun activities for the kids and tons of Christmas type things too. They had a meet Santa one night and also decorating Christmas cookies. The kids loved this.  They also had a character breakfast which we took advantage of one of the mornings. This was a great place to get some signatures for your book without having to wait in long lines which we refuse to do anyway. Not going to lie the kids were scared shit less and hid under the table for most of the characters.

Day 2 magic kingdom! We love this park for little kids. I feel like there is so much for them to ride and see. I bought cute little outfits on Etsy prior to coming, not gonna lie they were the cutest kids there. lol. We had great weather and the park was so beautiful, all decorated for Christmas. We also made sure we got our first timer button for Lincoln. You can get these from most any shop and they are free! We have all of ours and even some Birthday ones too.  Another nice thing is the princess make overs are legit. Macie's hair was so tight and had so much spray in it it was still completely in tack for the park. And since they give you the sheet of face gems and make up you can reapply and bam she was ready to go.  We didn't make it to park closing this trip either which was fine because it gave us something to do on another trip.

I really enjoyed this little trip to Disney.  I think mostly because I had just gotten off the cruise which had really stressed me out, so this part seemed relaxing. The kids had room to run and I just really enjoyed everything we did and didn't feel rushed to pack everything in, there's always next year!!
