Link your Marriott account to Twitter to get free points!

I usually don't link my social media accounts with other companies' pages because I figure they are just stealing all my information for marketing purposes.  But then I realized all my information is being shared by Facebook and Twitter anyways so I might as well do it.  Marriott currently has a connect and collect program going on.

This is an easy way to get free points.  I had about 13,000 Marriott points in my account from previous stays and bonuses.  I wanted to book a free night that cost 15,000 points.  Within two weeks I had over 3,000 free points just for tweeting the Marriott Rewards Program.  I still need to get Kim signed up for this promotion.  I'm disappointed in myself for not doing it sooner.  I hate to leave free, easy points on the table.

Also remember that SPG is now part of the Marriott family so these free points can be used at thousands of hotels. 

Simply link you Marriott Rewards account to Twitter.  If you don't have either account sign up now!
